Fai Ruk Pluerng Kaan
This drama starts off with Prae and her two friends going on a little vacation to Saran’s resort. Little does Prae know that their two families have a history together. She begins to get comfortable and very friendly with Saran during her stay, however, when she discovers who he really is, she breaks down and leaves immediately. It turns out that her fathers used to be friends and she used to play with Saran and his two brothers as a child but one day, her father gets brutally beaten by his father’s bodyguards. Apparently he cheated her family of their money. Shortly after her father’s death, her mother goes crazy and is sent to a mental hospital where she is placed in an orphanage but her uncle adopted and raised her. In an attempt to start a new life, she leaves the country and changes her name to Vida. Years later, she comes back to Thailand and has the mindset to get revenge on Saran and his family to make them suffer as well.
I actually really enjoyed this drama in the beginning. I thought that the plot was strong and the characters nicely portrayed their roles. Plus, the love-hate relationship was cute as well. However, I feel the ending was just too quickly and nothing was really answered.

Hi there! I’m super sorry for not answering or posting anything lately. I’ve been super busy with my first year of college and now that I have 2 weeks to myself before I start summer classes, I’ll try my best to update this blog ;~;
1. Nope, I’m from Vegas~
2. I fluently speak and read, but my writing skills need a bit of help. Like I know how to write the characters, but I can’t spell for shit LOL.
3. Sure! I’ve still been watching many series, so hopefully I’ll be able to start posting again soon.
Hua Jai Glai Roong
Roong works at a music school where she teachers blind students to sing and play instruments. She truly loves her job until one day, Singh, an old childhood friend, comes to tell her that his father has bought the company and is closing the school. Outraged, she does not give up and continues to try and keep the school going. It turns out that the two are childhood friends but haven’t seen one another for 10 years; they do keep in touch, though. Roong’s mom is completely against her friendship with Singh and always has been cold to him because she claims that because they are of different classes, they cannot be friends. There is also another problem with Roong’s brother as well. Him and their mother are constantly fighting; he wants to become a police officer like their father, but their mother refuses.
I actually really enjoyed this drama~ I thought it was really cute with the old-friends-fall-in-love type of relationship. I also liked how it didn’t revolve around love and actually had a story line and teachings behind it. Overall, it’s pretty cute to watch and pass time.

Samee | 14 episodes
This lakorn begins with Ai accidentally running into See with her car. It turns out that See was pregnant and the baby could not be saved; Raab also used to be lovers with See in the past. Ai is from a royal family and is very cold against Raab, her soon-to-be stepbrother, however, Raab really does love and care for Ai. To try and keep Ai out of trouble, Raab’s father insists that he marries Ai but once Raam’s mother, another ex-wife, finds out she gets mad and wants all her rightful money. Raam’s mother claims that he doesn’t love her son and says that Raam should marry Ai instead of Raab. She claims that because Raam was a sick child, his father sent him off for treatment in a foreign country. Feeling bad for his other son, he agrees to it and believes that Ai will be able to straighten him out because he is a huge player and is selfish. Knowing that Ai would never marry someone against her will, Raab tries to make a deal with her by giving her the money she needs because her family wealth is falling. However, the misunderstanding in the past will be harder for Ai to overcome.
I expected this lakorn to be really boring and stuff but even though it wasn’t too dramatic, it was really enjoyable. There were a lot of teachings and whatnot but I really enjoyed the role of each character because they were all so different. The family’s support for one another was also another thing that was really nice; they were like the perfect family and all so adorable even though Raam was a big problem. The way they ended it was nice too because everyone got what they deserved and it left no questions in the end~

It turns out the reason Madam hates Miang so much is because of her deceased best friend, Ann; she is determined to get revenge for her friend. Nex is a talented soccer player. Dok, Madam’s assistant finds him and believes he has the face to be the next star. It just happens that Madam takes a break away from the city and runs into Nex causing a scene. His adoptive parents are completely against it, however, he feels that meeting his father is something he has to do so he decides to go work with Madam Poochie.
I didn’t actually know what to expect with this lakorn but in the end, it was actually pretty cute. I really enjoyed Mario’s character and how it portrayed it. They go together really well and make the whole lakorn really funny. What I really liked though was the ending. Everything ended so well and the plan they made was really interesting.
Look Nee Tee Ruk | 11 episodes
Aorm is an obsessive shopper who has to buy pretty much everything she comes across. All the shopping leads her to be in a big debt. One day a jealous coworker Pinky puts Aorm on blast of her problem which can possibly get her fired from her job so she needs to find a way to keep her problem a secret from her boss. Her boss also hired her to train Lek, her son but Aorm’s work ethic is decreasing because she’s too paranoid about people coming after her because of her debt. Lek is also not too committed to his work and only thinks about traveling and his photography. His mom tells him that if he continues to go off and travel with his unproductive girlfriend, he needs to work hard for one year to get money. In return, Lek decides to quit and find a job on his own, however, that plan fails. Aorm and her friends decide that she needs to run away from her debt so she goes away from the city. Meanwhile, his mother hires Mon to become his new trainer hoping that one day the two will be wed. Lek doesn’t like the fact that his mother pushes him like that so he makes a deal with Aorm saying that if she trains him successfully to last a year while also being his fake girlfriend, he will pay off her debt.
This is the second lakorn in the series and compared to the first, I enjoyed this one a bit more. I feel this one taught more of a lesson for sure. It’s cool that the main characters are all really close with one another and there really wasn’t much hatred throughout the whole thing. I really enjoyed the relationship between the two characters though because they just seemed so comfortable with one another. The ending was actually really satisfying too because I really didn’t expect Lek’s mom to be so kind and generous.
Lakorns in the series
Bodyguard Sao | 15 episodes
Praeploy is a very skilled bodyguard who is also sometimes asked to help the police force at dire times. Itt on the other hand is a carefree champion motor racer. On the day of his race, his family is opening his grandfather’s will and it turns out that he ended up getting more than everyone but he doesn’t want any of it. Prae’s boss is like an uncle to Itt because he is very close to his daughter, May. Itt’s cousins pretty much despise him for being their grandfather’s favorite even though he isn’t really related to them at all. His old lover, Alice, was forced to marry his older cousin, Isoon, while he was away even though she still loves Itt. With Prae, they aren’t on very good terms but will probably have to get used to seeing each other pretty often. After Prae quits working for May’s father, certain evens occur and she ends up working as Itt’s bodyguard.
I actually loved this lakorn a lot more than I expected to. I really loved the character of Praeploy. This review is so overdue and I can’t remember most of the details from the lakorn LOL so I apologize for that. I did like the supporting characters though because they really enhanced the whole drama. I also enjoyed the connection between people in the drama and how it all ended.
